Decks for Worlds
There are a few decks I'm thinking about for worlds. Vorna frost mage, Dralor Control, possibly some form of solo maybe Rogue maybe Shaman.
Here's my Vorna list.
// Lands
4 [TDP] Solanian's Belongings {TDP}
1 [TDP] Poison Water {TDP}
4 [SOB] Meeting with the Master {SOB}
3 [HFI] The Cipher of Damnation {HFI}
2 [HOA] Sunken Treasure {HOA}
2 [MOL] The Root of All Evil {MOL}
// Creatures
3 [HFI] Brok Bloodcaller {HFI}
1 [FWV] The Abominable Greench {FWV}
4 [SOB] Niyore of the Watch {SOB}
3 [MOL] Doshura Risestrider {MOL}
1 [TDP] Field Repair Bot 74A {TDP}
//Equipment
4 [MOL] The Bringer of Death {MOL}
4 [TDP] Major Healing Potion {TDP}
2 [SOB] Terokk's Shadowstaff {SOB}
2 [SOB] Voidfire Wand {SOB}
2 [CRF] Belt of Blasting {CRF}
// Spells
3 [SOB] Invisibility {SOB}
3 [MOL] Nether Fracture {MOL}
4 [FOO] Fizzle {FOO}
2 [TDP] Spellsteal {TDP}
2 [SOB] Invocation {SOB}
4 [HFI] The More, the Scarier {HFI}
// Sideboard
SB: 1 [SOB] Terokk's Shadowstaff {SOB}
SB: 1 [MOL] Nether Fracture {MOL}
SB: 2 [TDP] Spellsteal {TDP}
SB: 1 [SOB] Vor'na the Disciplined {SOB}
SB: 4 [SOB] Metalmorph {SOB}
SB: 2 [HFI] Seer's Signet {HFI}
I'd like Seer's Signet in the main, but think that maybe any extra slots should go to fighting Aggro more.
I liked Dralor since he could hose alot of control matchups and randomly win bad matchups by purloining into pickpocket
Here's my Dralor list.
// Lands
2 [MOL] The Root of All Evil {MOL}
4 [HFI] The Cipher of Damnation {HFI}
3 [TDP] Wanted: Hogger {TDP}
4 [TDP] Manhunt {TDP}
1 [HOA] Chasing A-Me 01 {HOA}
1 [FOO] Corki's Ransom {FOO}
2 [HOA] The Missing Diplomat {HOA}
// Creatures
4 [HFI] Retainer's Blade {HFI}
2 [FWV] The Abominable Greench {FWV}
2 [MOL] Weeble {MOL}
1 [SOB] Narthadus {SOB}
1 [TDP] Field Repair Bot 74A {TDP}
1 [HFI] Scrapper Ironbane {HFI}
3 [HFI] Wimbly Tinkerton {HFI}
// Spells
4 [MOL] Whispering Blade of Slaying {MOL}
4 [FOO] Jacknife {FOO}
4 [FOO] Pick Pocket {FOO}
4 [TDP] Purloin {TDP}
2 [TDP] Kick {TDP}
3 [MCT] Perdition's Blade {MCT}
4 [TDP] Major Healing Potion {TDP}
4 [HFI] Sap {HFI}
// Sideboard
SB: 2 [TDP] Kick {TDP}
SB: 1 [MOL] Dralor {MOL}
SB: 2 [HOA] Dismantle {HOA}
SB: 2 [TDP] Vanish {TDP}
SB: 2 [FWV] Gingerbread Cookie {FWV}
SB: 2 [SOB] Cloak of Shadows {SOB}
This deck originally had wastewalker combo maindecked, instead of the maindecked Sap, and the maindecked Wimbly. The problem with this deck is that it loses to Kilzin over and over again. It fairs pretty well against Desecrator and such with maindecked saps. But I've won MAYBE 30% of my Kilzin matches. Also this deck doesn't seem as good at handling control and bloodelf mage. Which is why I'm leaning towards blood elf mage.

Re: Decks for Worlds
My offhand thoughts are that Obliveron's going to be a lot better - it's main problem(s) before involved the lack of ability and equipment removal, and now it's going to get both of those in BT. However, I'm sure that everone else is going to have the same thought, and that to a certain extent speculating before BT is (more) spoiled is difficult.
But still, there are a lot of good traitor cards...

Re: Decks for Worlds
so...you're playing a Frost mage, but no Water Elemental? why not just play a Fire mage for access to Dragon's Breath/Blast Wave then?

Re: Decks for Worlds
The flip!
At least that's what I recall from when I asked. Though being frost with no elemental might help by forcing people to keep their anti-elemental tech in hand while you wreck them.

Re: Decks for Worlds
(I'm pretty sure I posted this before...)
I don't think there's a Blood Elf Fire Mage, so the deck isn't even plausible.
