DMFs I am going to

DMFs I am going to
So since I had a little free time, I checked out some other flights for DMFs coming up (from Seattle). The site I was using (farecast.com) doesn't have some airlines, tohugh, particularly southwest.
Charlotte ('April') - I checked each weekend, just for fun. I looked for leaving thursday, returning Sunday after 5pm or Monday. Flights are in to CLT.
With one stop, these are basically an allday flights to get there since it's got that 3 hour timezone thing going on. 1stop flights are 8-9 hours, so 12 hour effective time taken. I therefore checked leaving both on Thursday and on Friday.
Direct flights are still fairly long, so I didn't pull those out on their own.
2/3-5/6 (prices were ~the same for Thursday and Friday):
* Returning at 7:50pm on Sunday (11 hour layover): $347 on American
* Returning at 6:10pm on Sunday: $375 on United
* Returning at 11:15am on Monday: $239 on American
9/10-12/13: (prices were ~the same for Thursday and Friday)
* Returning at 4:20pm Sunday: $236 on Continental
* Returning at 7:15pm Sunday: $415 on Delta
* Returning at 3pm Monday: $244 on Continental
16/17-19/20: (prices were ~the same for Thursday and Friday)
* Returning at 7:15pm Sunday: $292 on Delta
* Returning at 11:25am Monday: $237 on Continental
23-26/27:
* Returning at 4:10pm Sunday: $239 on American
* Returning at 7:15pm Sunday: $292 on Delta
24-27
* Leave Friday, return Monday (lots of times): $176 on Delta
That took longer than I expected, so I'll check out the other ones later.

Charlotte is going to be the 24th through 26th. I haven't re-checked prices yet.

Re: DMFs I am going to
Plenty of prices for $239 still. The more I think about it, the more I'm considering actually going. Anyone else even remotely considering it?

OK, the good flights (leaving past 5pm on Sunday) are around $300 now, but they have a $80/night rate at the hotel next door. I, for one, am thinking I'll probably go now. Just need to pick one of the flights.

Re: DMFs I am going to
OK, I picked SEA->SFO->CLT, leaving at ~730am on united (SFO->CLT run by USAirways). Return is CLT->SEA direct, also booked on united also run by usairways. Price was $304, but they've since risen .
Haven't gotten a hotel yet, but might try and split one with someone else who's going if noone from around here is.... (rather than getting my own and trying to split with someone I know, I mean)

Re: DMFs I am going to
I'm bad at this airfare stuff. Delta's got a bunch of flights for $237 (both daytime and redeye), though the return trip is also 1 stop. Mostly they leave around 7:20pm on Sunday (eastern time) and land in Seattle around midnight. Oh well...

Re: DMFs I am going to
CLT flights are now expensive ($350+ for evening return).
Boston, however, is around $320 for Thursday->Sunday flights. I'm possibly going to a wedding instead of the DMF, though, so I'm not going to book anything until I find out which one I'm going to.
